My #FavouriteThing today was writing. Sometimes it comes easily and sometimes it comes hard. But the key is to stick with it and just keep doing it anyway. Just keep putting own to paper (or hands to keyboard, as the case may be.) Progress is progress.
I also am continuing to appreciate my forced break. My body has flared up badly this week in reaction to all my Botox and cortisone shots on Monday, and all my joints and my skin feel like they are on fire and bruised. And pain is exhausting. So it has meant lots of pain killers, letting myself off the hook when I need to be gentle and not just push through, and doing what I can when I’m able. And respecting my sleep. I am crossing my fingers because I am supposed to run a 5K on Saturday that I signed up for months ago. I really don’t want to miss it. It will be the firsts time I have ever done an organized race.
